1-   INTELLIGENT AND INTERACTIVE SYSTEMS

This research group deals with methods of machine learning, computer vision, Intelligent systems and optimization. One aim of this research group is to transfer scientific results into industrial and economic applications

2-   NATURAL LANGUAGE AND INFORMATION PROCESSING

This research group works on a wide range of topics in computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing, and information research.

The goal is to build systems that are able to analyze, understand and generate language, so that people can interact with computers as they do with other persons

The group will continue to grow with an increasing number of PhD students and MSc students at the Libyan Academy.

This Research group is led by

3-   MULTIMEDIA AND CYPERSECURITY

This research group is led by:

Prof. Dr. Bahlul Emhemed Al-Fgee ,

Prof. Dr. Shubat Owhida

The research group has an interest in a wide range of topics in networking and cybersecurity security, including network security, multimedia compression, cryptography techniques, digital forensics, and computer networks.  

The aim of this research group is built practical oriented efforts to solve the problems with the help of computer network protocols and practical applications cybersecurity in industrial, economic and communication sectors.

Topics of Research include:

·        QoS Provisioning in computer networks

·        Wired and Wireless network protocols

·        Network security

·        Network optimization

·        Network Performance modeling and analysis

·        Multimedia data compression.
