تعتبر الفراغات السكنية من اهم الفراغات المعمارية لان الانسان يجد فيها احتياجاته ويقضي بها معظم الاوقات ليومه , لذا يجب الاهتمام بتصميمها لتكون بيئة مريحة وتلائم احتياجات ومتطلبات قاطينها , وتمكنهم من ممارسة انشطتهم المتنوعة في راحة ورضى , هناك مجموعة من القواعد والمبادي في التصميم يجب مراعاتها واخذها في عين الاعتبار , لا تقتصر الوحدة السكنية على الفراغات المعمارية فقط بل يجب ان تحتوي على مضامين لها علاقة بالناحية الاجتماعية والانسانية للمستفيد , ان الفراغ السكني يتاثر بالابعاد السلوكية والانسانية والثقافية والتي تنعكس عليه بشكل مباشر, ان الوحدات السكنية محددوة المساحة لابد من التفكير في الاعتبارات والمحددات التصميمية اثناء تصميميها بما يتناسب مع متطلبات واحتياجات المستخدمين لها , وتكمن اشكالية هذه الدراسة في تسليط الضوء على الاعتنبارات والمحددات بصورة خاصة للفراغات السكنية حتى يتسنى لنا تلبية احتياجات ومتطلبات والشعور الراحة والظمانية, ويهدف البحث لتوضيح بعض الاسس لتصميم الفراغات السكنية بما يحقق المؤائمة في توفير الاساسيات والوظيفية للمستفيذ , وتنتهي الدراسة بتوضيح النتائج المراد مراعاتهم اثناء التصميم والتوصيات المقترحة للاهتمام بهذة الجزئية من البحث.

Residential spaces are considered one of the most important architectural spaces because people find their needs in them and spend most of their time in them. Therefore, attention must be paid to designing them to be a comfortable environment that suits the needs and requirements of its residents, and enables them to practice their various activities in comfort and satisfaction. In consideration, the residential unit is not limited to architectural spaces only, but must contain contents related to the social and humanitarian aspects of the beneficiary. The residential space is affected by the behavioral, human and cultural dimensions, which are directly reflected in it. The residential units are limited in size. It is necessary to think about the design considerations and determinants during their design in a way that suits the requirements and needs of their users. The problem of this study lies in shedding light on the considerations and determinants in particular for residential spaces so that we can meet the needs and requirements and a feeling of comfort and security. The research aims to clarify some of the foundations for designing residential spaces with It achieves compatibility in providing the basics and functionality to the user, and the study ends by clarifying the results to be taken into account during the design and the proposed recommendations for attention to this part of the research.
