Innovative SQL Query Generator Using an Arabic Language Description

This paper presents the development of an advanced system designed to efficiently process Arabic queries in today’s data-driven landscape. By using the T5 sequence-to-sequence model developed by Google and fine-tuning it specifically for transforming textual and verbal input into SQL queries, the system becomes adept at accurately comprehending and interpreting Arabic queries.

The resulting system serves as a user-friendly tool that automates the generation of SQL queries. Users can input their queries in written or recorded Arabic utterances, eliminating the need for manual translation and query construction.

This involved fine-tuning T5 models on a SQL dataset, splitting the dataset, tokenizing it, and setting training parameters. The implementation phase included loading the fine-tuned model, which incorporated PICARD to generate valid queries effectively. This paper also explores the impact of Arabic translation on the performance and accuracy of the model.

The optimal testing on test set accuracy achieved was 63.11%, the real-world testing accuracy: T5-base without PICARD scored 56.96% and 51.36% on English and Arabic questions, respectively, while T5-large with PIARCD scored 77.74% and 70.34% on English and Arabic questions.

The seroprevalence of IgM and IgG antibodies production among expected COVID-19 patients: A retrospective cohort study

Abstract :

Antibody tests can identify people with a resolving or past severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection and thereby help researchers and public health experts better understand the epidemiology of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. This study is a retrospective study that included 187 Libyan individuals, who attended Attshkhesy (the diagnostic) laboratory in Alkhoms City, Libya, between January 01, 2021, and August 28, 2021. The mean ages of males and females were 48.8 and 46.8, respectively. The study utilized the CLIA quantitative antibody test. To perform the CLIA quantitative antibody test, a high throughput assay apparatus known as the YHLO - iFlash 1800 Chemiluminescence Immunoassay Analyzer was utilized, along with assay reagents called iFlash-SARS-CoV-2 IgM/IgG (manufactured by YHLO Biotech, Shenzhen, China). In female subjects, the concentration of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 IgM was higher than that of IgG in all age groups. Interestingly, in male subjects, the results showed the opposite, where the concentration of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 IgG was much higher than that of IgM in all age groups. When male data were plotted against the female data, the concentration of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 IgM in females was much higher than that of IgM in males in all age groups. Merged IgM-male and IgM-female results showed that IgM concentrations were higher in females than males at all age groups, which means that the incidence of recent COVID-19 infection was higher in females than in males. On the other hand, the IgG antibody prevalence in females was always higher than in males except at age groups 41-50 years and 51-60 years, which can be used as an indicator of high acquired immunity among females due to possible reinfection of females with COVID-19 virus.

Importance de la langue française en Libye

L'introduction de cet essai cherche à montrer l'importance croissante de la langue française en Libye, qui se retrouve au centre d'interactions culturelles et économiques dans le pays. L'influence passée et coloniale de la France a laissé une marque importante sur les relations entre les deux pays et sur le système éducatif libyen. Ainsi, savoir parler français devient un enjeu majeur pour les Libyens, que ce soit pour trouver des emplois ou pour mieux comprendre les cultures qui parlent français. Dans un monde de plus en plus interconnecté, le français n'est pas seulement un outil de communication, mais aussi une porte qui s'ouvre vers de nouvelles opportunités, académiques et sociales. L'image montre cette dynamique à travers une étude de la production académique qui soutient l'enseignement du français en Libye, mettant en lumière les défis actuels de cette compétence linguistique.

يتناول هذا البحث أجراء من أهم الإجراءات الاحتياطية التي خولها المشرع لسلطات التحقيق والمحكمة، يتم اتخادها ضد المتهم وزوجه وأولاده، تسلبهم حق التصرف في جميع أموالهم العقارية والمنقولة ومن حق إدارتها، وتعيين شخص لإدارة هذه الأموال، دون أن يكون لهذا الحرمان أجل معلوم، فيصح أن يظل قائما لعدة سنوات حتى يتم الفصل في الدعوى، وبهذا فهو تدبير احترازي مؤقــت وقائي يفرض لمصلحة المجتمع كله في الحالات التي يبينها القانون وبحكم قضائي موجه إلى أموال الأفراد ودون تـوقف عـلى إراداتهم.

A Naive Bayes Classifier for Fault Detection and Classification Using Dimension Reduction Technique

Abstract—Fault detection and classification is critical to the reliability of modern control systems in different industries, where detecting and classifying faults in operational processes are very important things while failure to detect and classify them, may cause irreparable damage. In this paper, fault detection and classification approach is presented. The first step, multi stage recursive least squares parameter estimation approach for controlled autoregressive autoregressive moving average systems (CARARMA) is developed with a view to estimate the parameters of the system, additionally, improve the effectiveness of the computation. By means of multi stage approach, the (CARARMA) system is decomposed into three simple identification models, and the parameters of each simple model is identified one by one. These parameters estimated by this approach are referred to as features, and not all of them have the same useful data about the system. In order to select the valuable features and improve a classification accuracy, the Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) approach based on scattering matrices is applied for dimension reduction. The classification between these reduced classes is done based on the Naive Bayes classifier. Finally, the obtained results explain the performance of this proposed approach.

Nutritional, Physicochemical and Organoleptic Properties of Cookies Enriched with Green Lentil Dietary Flour Proposed for Children

The aim of this study was to partially determine the nutritional and functional properties of cookies enriched with green lentil dietary flour proposed for children. The proposed cookies were enriched with lentil dietary flour at different concentrations, at the expense of the proportion of wheat flour. The cookies were divided into three different groups based on different formulas, the first group was without green lentil (control), while the other two groups were enriched cookies with green lentil flour “6%” and “12%”.

Results of protein analysis showed that cookies with 6% lentil flour had the highest protein content. Results of protein solubility indicated that cookies fortified with green lentil flour had the highest extraction values in comparison to the control samples. The molecular weight of proteins from ingredients (lentils, wheat, skimmed milk, whey protein, and egg), extracted by high ionic strength buffers, remained unchanged. The combination of ingredients normally impacts a change in proteins, but the major proteins preserve their nutritional characteristics even after being mixed in different formulas. The results showed that the dry matter and ash contents of cookie samples increased by the addition of lentil dietary flour. Colour measurement results showed that the control samples had the highest L* values, while samples of resulted in acceptable quality characteristics in both cookie types (6 and 12%). Overall, data indicates cookies enriched with green lentil dietary flour have fortified their protein and phytochemical contents. The utilization of protein powder derived from lentils may enhance the nutritional quality and functional properties of cookies that can be proposed for school and pre-school kids.

Optimizing Network Resilience with Segment Routing A Comparative Study of SR TI-LFA and rLFA

Abstract: Network operators are confronted with the demanding requirements resulting from the evolution of IP networks. As a result, it has become necessary to provide rigorous Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that are in line with these requirements. However, traditional IP networks lack the necessary flexibility, scalability, and manageability to meet these demands. In order to address these limitations, the segment routing (SR) architecture has been developed. SR is based on source-routing and tunneling paradigms, which enable IP/MPLS and IPV6 networks to operate in a simplified and more scalable manner. The focus of this paper is on network protection (resiliency) using Topology Independent Loop-Free Alternatives Fast Re-Route (TI-LFA FRR) using MPLS as the underlying technology. SR overcomes the limitations of previous network protection mechanisms in terms of coverage and optimal path selection. To show the effectiveness of SR TI-LFA in comparison to its predecessor, Remote Loop-Free Alternate (rLFA), we have implemented various scenarios. These scenarios are designed to highlight the superior capabilities of TI-LFA.
